CTDA Year End Awards

The CTDA offers several year-end awards for the highest average in the Under 12, Jr/YR, Amateur, and Open categories with the same horse/rider combinations.  Both the owner and rider of the horse must be current CTDA members in good standing at the time tests are ridden and must have fulfilled the volunteer requirements. Educational Scholarships

This scholarship fund has been established to promote quality dressage education in Middle Tennessee.  Three separate scholarships are to be awarded each year in the following divisions: Junior Rider (age 14-18), Adult Amateur, and Adult Open.  The scholarship dollar amounts may vary according to need, but shall not exceed $375.00 per division.   (Click here for more details) (Click here for application)
Tennessee Championship Awards

CTDA is the proud sponsor of the Tennessee State Championship and will provide ribbons for the first 8 riders in each of the levels and divisions (Click here for more details)
CTDA Performance Awards

Performance awards are the 70% Performance Club, and 80% Performance Club.  The Hall of Fame and Outstanding Achievement awards are presented by the board where applicable.
CTDA Member Awards

CTDA recognizes outstanding member contributions and gives out these yearly awards:

  • Volunteer of the Year Award (Jr/YR/AA/Open divisions)
  • Participation Award
  • Special Participation Award
  • Dee Minault Horsemanship Award recognizing the true spirit of horse(wo)manship

The CTDA Dee Minault Horse(wo)man is someone with a comprehensive tool box for the many aspects of horse riding/care/competing, and who spreads the word and shares their knowledge with others. Nominations for this annual award are taken by the membership and voted on by the CTDA board.
