Brandie Taylor
President
Brandie is a 2000 graduate of MTSU with a BS in Horse Science. She got her first horse at age five (a miniature horse that Brandie’s mom still owns at the ripe old age of 31!) and has had horses ever since.
Having shown everything from miniature horses, driving, eventing, hunters, Intercollegiate Equestrian team, western pleasure, stock seat equitation and ven some showmanship, she always comes back to Dressage and admits it’s her true love. She’s also finding that the older she gets, the more she likes flat work!
Brandie teaches and trains at her farm in Petersburg as well as traveling to other local farms in Middle Tennessee. She loves working with young horses and enjoys teaching. She is currently showing Rita, a 7 year-old Trakhener cross, and her newest addition, Mercury (pictured) an 8 year-old Trakhener.
Beth Harris, Vice President, Membership Chair

Beth Harris moved to Nashville in June of 2006 to take her first "official" job as a Pathologist at Vanderbilt. She started riding in Maryland 15 years ago and rode hunter/jumpers with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. Beth says that soon after graduating from college, she had a lesson with a visiting dressage instructor and "saw the light”. While living in Georgia, she started training with Richard Lifton, and currently rides in his clinics as often as possible!
The move to Nashville has turned out to be a wonderful thing! Beth bought her first horse, Roanoke's Landing (an off-the-track TB gelding) in November 2006, who is the kindest, most generous horse. She got married in August 2007 to Mark (he rides bicycles, not horses!), who is enjoying his immersion in the horse world! And she recently bought a lovely, very sweet, Oldenburg youngster and is looking forward to growing and learning with him in the new 2008 season!

Michael Foster
Secretary, Newsletter

MICHAEL FOSTER.
Michael and his family moved to Tennessee from Southern California in mid-2006, only five months after he started riding Dressage in California with Carol Tice. This return to the saddle after doing some show jumping as a teenager (seemingly a lifetime ago!), has allowed Michael to dive back into his lifelong love for horses.
Since 2007 Michael has enjoyed his work with the CTDA as Secretary, and as Editor for the club’s newsletter, Transitions.
Michael and his two horses, Patriot and Amarillo, train under the watchful eye of USDF Silver Medalist Kerstin Moltmann at Old Hillsboro Manor Equestrian Center in Franklin.
Michael's wife Carolyn and son Adam also ride, and his daughter Natalie attends university at Spelman College in Atlanta. His mother, Millie, enjoys going out to the farm to visit the horses, feed carrots and treats and share in the ‘horse fever’.
Chris Saia
Professionally, I am a chiropractor and acupuncturist. I have ridden horses most all of my life having spent many years showing on the A-circuit including the National Indoors
circuit with hunter/jumpers. My FEI Hanoverian mare Wynona and I have been in training with Garra Walline for six years. In addition to Wynona, I have three other horses, two young warmbloods in training and one retired TB. My husband, Gary Waters accompanies me to horse shows. He's the best groom/handler in the whole world. My horses love him. The rest of the family includes four dogs.
