 Hot... hot... HOT!!

With a temp of 100 degrees and a heat index of approx 105, CTDA members, friends, and family braved the elements to share in the wonderful atmosphere at the Roberson Equestrian Facility on July 24th. Kerstin Moltmann was the judge, and Katherine Murray held down scribing duties - both managing to remain cool despite the conditions.

 Congratulations to all competitors and 'thanks' to all the friends and family members who came out to support.   Please click here for results.

Our next schooling show will be held on September 11th and will also be at the Roberson Equestrian Facility in Murfreesboro. Also remember the Ole South is coming up and the closing date is July 29th. See you there!

Prize List for State Championships

Please be aware of the qualifying requirements for the Tennessee Dressage State Championships. Click on the links below for the State flier, Prize List, and the Qualifying Requirements.

The inaugural Tennessee Dressage State Championships will be held at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville on October 30-31, 2010. To qualify you must be a member of any Tennessee GMO at the time your scores are earned. Confirmation of this will be required via your GMO membership representative.

Also remember that the Ole South Weekend - August 20, 21, 22 - hosts TWO shows on one weekend, same venue - a GREAT chance to earn scores for Championships! Closing date for Ole South entries is July 29th. Get 'em in!!

The CTDA proudly announces the winners of the 2010 Dressage Education Scholarship!

Each year the CTDA accepts applications for its Dressage Education Scholarship. The applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors and assessed on the basis of the merit of the applicant’s record, credentials, funding request, intent, value to individual and community, and the applicant’s volunteer record. Scholarships are awarded in each of the following categories - Junior/Young Rider, Adult Amateur, and Open.

Please join us in congratulating this year's recipients and wishing them well in their pursuits. We will hear from them once they have completed their clinics and courses of study.

Without all of you, we could not put on a great horse show year after year... A very sincere 'thank you'!

The next CTDA Business meeting will be held on Monday, August 2,at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be held at J. Alexander's in the Cool Springs Galleria, 1721 Galleria Blvd. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
