Membership Dues:
Individual membership: $42.00 (each additional family member (spouse or
dependent): $20.00. You will rapidly recoup this sum via the financial
breaks that CTDA offers to its members.
Recognized Shows:
CTDA host’s two USDF/USEF recognized shows annually. The Tennessean in
May/June and the Ole South Classic in August. Both shows are held at
centrally located venues in Middle Tennessee.
Schooling Shows:
CTDA sanctions several schooling shows every year and proposes to do so
each year. Check the Calendar of Events for
current information.
Clinics:
CTDA. sponsors or sanctions at least 2 clinics per year, bringing in
recognized trainers and other experts for the benefit of club members.
Members are offered the opportunity to participate at a reduced rate.

Newsletter:
The newsletter is mailed regularly to all club members, giving the
latest news from meetings, calendar of events and other information of
interest. Members also receive 15 lines of classified advertising per
year at no charge.
Year-End Awards:
CTDA offers year end awards for highest average in the 12 & under,
Jr/Yr, Amateur, and Open categories with the same horse/rider
combinations.
Both horse owner and rider must be current CTDA members in good
standing at the time tests are ridden.
Each horse/rider combination must complete a minimum of the
following:
Intro Level, 3rd Level and 4th Level = 4 rides
Training Level, 1st Level and 2nd Level = 6 rides
FEI = 3 rides
Musical Freestyle = 3 rides
Riders, NOT horse owners, must complete 5 hours of
volunteer time or solicit $50.00 in ads and/or
sponsorships for a CTDA organized event, including advertising in the
programs for The Tennessean and the Ole South. Horse owners
may not transfer any volunteer time to the rider.
Volunteer forms must be signed by the organizers of each CTDA sanctioned
event. Members are responsible for returning forms to the Year-End
Awards Coordinator.
If a CTDA member competes at a recognized USDF/USEF event that is
not sanctioned by CTDA and would like those scores to count towards
year end awards, those scores must be sent to the Awards Coordinator
within 30 days of the competition for the scores to count
for year end awards.
Horse and rider combinations can win only once at any level and subsequent awards must be at a higher level.

Other awards offered by CTDA are the Volunteer of the Year Award,
the Jr. Volunteer of the Year, Participation Award, Special
Participation Award, Horsemanship Award (nomination by the board, voted
by the membership), Hall Of Fame, 70% Club (may be inducted one time)
and the Outstanding Achievement Award .
Volunteer Hours:
In order to encourage the necessary volunteer support that CTDA needs to
implement its activities for the benefit of the dressage community, a
volunteer policy is in place: to be eligible for CTDA Year- End Awards,
either the rider or owner must donate at least 5 hours of volunteer work
per horse by serving on a committee or volunteering at a CTDA sponsored
activity, (e.g.: show, clinic, etc.), or solicit $100.00 in ads and/or
sponsorships for a CTDA organized event (e.g.: recognized show, awards
banquet, etc.). Volunteer forms must be signed by the organizers of each
CTDA sanctioned event. Members are responsible for returning the
volunteer forms to the Year-End Awards Coordinator, by October 31 to be
